Booking & Cancellation Policy

 We are a small business and we value both our time and your time. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support & loyalty. Unfortunately, due to frequent last-minute cancellations/rescheduling & no-shows, we have had to update our booking & cancellations policies. As we run on an appointment-only basis and our treatments have allocated time slots, it is not always possible to fill a last-minute cancellation or no-show. This has a huge effect on our business. These new policies are effective immediately. 

Booking Policy 

All bookings at Michelle’s Skin & Beauty Clinic and The Beauty Rooms at the Galway Bay Hotel, including online bookings, are subject to availability during listed opening hours (See our opening hours online). Management reserves the right to cancel or change bookings occasionally. Gift voucher bookings are also subject to availability and are non-refundable. 

For appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time, we will charge 50% of the service total. “No-show” appointments will be charged 100%. 

A deposit must be paid in advance for any treatments booked either online or via the clinic. Booking deposits for all Beauty Services will be charged at 50% of the appointment total. All Skin Treatments & Massage Treatments will be charged at a €50 deposit. For online bookings, clients will be required to pay a mandatory deposit at the time of booking. Our Phorest booking system will calculate the deposit fee before you confirm your appointment. 

Cancellation Policy

With all booking cancellations, Michelle’s Skin & Beauty Clinic and The Beauty Rooms at the Galway Bay Hotel MUST be notified 24 hours before the booking date and time. Any payments made for treatments in advance, including deposit payments, are strictly non-refundable where bookings are canceled or rescheduled outside of the allowed timeframe. Unfortunately, we cannot take any personal circumstances into account. We have one policy for all clients and cannot make any exceptions for this.

No Shows” will be charged the full amount and required to pay the full amount upfront for any future appointments.

Late to your appointment 

If you are late to your appointment, any time lost will be deducted from your treatment as we run on an appointment-only basis and our treatments have allocated time slots.
